We’re thrilled to announce that the annual sports meet was a resounding success, held on March 22, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. onwards at the De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa.
We were honoured to have Mr. Mahesh Chandana Weerakonon, Advisor, Sports and Physical Education, Colombo University, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Upul Abeywardana, Chairman, Board of Trustees, St. John’s Girls’ School, as the Guest of Honour, accompanied by Mrs. Abeywardana. Thank you for gracing the occasion with your presence!
Congratulations to Sujatha House for their spectacular victory, leading with an impressive score of 729 points! And a big round of applause to Mahamaya House for securing the second position with a commendable score of 446 marks!
A big thank you to our sports teacher, Mrs. Nelupa Dasanayaka, and all the house mistresses, teachers, and parents for their unwavering support and dedication.
